NCIS Season 23, Episode 13 ‘All Good Things’ is this show’s 500th episode. Yes, 500. And what a ride it has been. It almost feels like a miracle that we are here. Long-running procedurals are a thing, but this is… a lot longer than anyone expected a show about an agency no one even knew existed to last. And the show has faced some uphill battles in its time.
There was Ziva leaving. Tony leaving. Abby leaving. Then Gibbs leaving. The team has had to reinvent itself a few times. And yet here we are, in Season 23, and this still feels like a show that’s worth investing time in. That’s something to celebrate.
And we’re celebrating with an episode that promises to hit us right in the feels, as the team faces the possibility of NCIS shutting down for good. Is there a future for this team? Well, the show has already been renewed for Season 24, so it feels like the answer is obvious. But how do we get there? We can’t wait to find out.
