Chicago Fire Season 14, Episode 16 ‘Firehouse 66’ promises to bring us Captain Severide, and we’re not going to lie. It’s got a ring to it. But it also seems like things won’t be as easy for him as just taking the Captain’s exam and stepping up. This is a TV show, why should things be easy? Especially as we enter the last stretch of the season.
But there really is no better person to lead Firehouse 51 than Kelly Severide, and no one who makes as much sense story-wise. So, we’re sure this is going to work out. As for Cruz…can his family just get a moment to breathe? He was just dying a few episodes ago! Poor Chloe! And the kids, too.
