We always love casting and/or filming announcements. When we get announcements, we get excited over what comes next and well, in the dumpster fire that is the world today, we definitely need excitement. We need joy.
And you know nothing brings us joy like movies on The Hallmark Channel.
Hallmark announced that a new movie was filming in Australia and it is starring two of our favorites. The channel posted on their Instagram account, “Ahoy! ⚓️ Love on Deck starring Daniel Lissing and Rhiannon Fish is officially in production in beautiful Queensland, Australia. Set sail for love when Love on Deck premieres this summer! ⛵️”
We know that with these two starring it is doing to be good.
According to if.com.au, the movie is features, “Fish as former lawyer-turned-event planner Samara Hart, who is rebuilding her life when she takes on a high-stakes job, planning a lavish 40th wedding anniversary celebration aboard a luxury yacht. However, her fresh start is thrown off course when she discovers the yacht’s captain is Nate Lawson (Lissing), her former courtroom rival and the man she blames for a career-defining public fallout. As the pair clash over every detail of the event, their sharp banter soon gives way to something deeper.”
The script was written by Ansley Gordon with Sophie Tilsen contributing.
“Love on Deck has all the elements audiences love; romance, humour, and heart, but it’s also about taking risks and starting over,” Rhiannon said in a statement, “Working with Jaggi Entertainment again, and bringing a character to life in such a beautiful part of Australia, is something I always treasure.”
Summer can’t get here fast enough. We can’t wait to see this one.
