Netflix announced nine additional cast members joining Nobody Wants This Season 3 and we’re celebrating! The new season is currently in production and will premiere later this year, so we’re excited to see how it takes shape. Let’s review who the cast is and what characters they will play.
Returning Cast
Joanne and Noah are back? Hell yeah! Kristen Bell as Joanne and Adam Brody as Noah are back! And they will continue to delight us with their love story. With them we have Justine Lupe as Morgan, Timothy Simons as Sasha, and Jackie Tohn as Esther. So, Noah and Joanne’s family will remain important to their story.
New Recurring Cast
As Joanne becomes more involved in Noah’s world and takes her conversion seriously, new characters played by Andrew Rannells, Keyla Monterroso Mejia, and Sarah Silverman arrive to challenge her decision. And these are its characters.
Andrew Rannells will play Sebastien. He’s the Joanne’s nemesis in conversion class.
Keyla Monterroso Mejia will be Amber, “a single woman enrolled in Joanne’s Intro to Judaism class who is obsessed with finding a Jewish husband.”
Sarah Silverman as Rabbi Eden. She’s “the warm, quirky teacher of an Intro to Judaism class, and a supportive presence for Joanne and Noah.”
Guest Stars
Alongside them, Nobody Wants This Season 3 adds some guest stars to the mix, who will perfectly round out the storylines. They are Avan Jogia, Erin Foster, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Stephanie Koenig, and Steven Weber. And these are its characters.
Avan Jogia as Travis. He’s “a confident and unbothered guy’s guy who enjoys getting under Joanne’s skin.”
Erin Foster—yeah, the same that is executive producer and creator of the show—will be Nicole. She’s described as “terminally single and chaotic mess… She’s Joanne if everything had gone wrong for her life.”
Poorna Jagannathan will be Eleanor, Sebastien’s brassy and biting aunt.
Sadie Sandler will play Denise, a young psychic who gives a reading to Morgan.
Stephanie Koenig as Poppy, “a sardonic dating app regular who tries her luck with Sasha.”
Steven Weber as Julian, “a funny, grounded, cool and secure divorced dad.”
