Happy’s Place Season 2 has seen Isabella spread her wings. As part of her journey this season she’s opened up a speakeasy above Happy’s. And everyone has supported her. They’ve helped her clear out the space, remodel it, and get all the inspections. But in this exclusive clip from Happy’s Place Season 2 Episode 16, it’s not enough to keep it afloat.
In our exclusive clip for this week’s episode “AI-AI-No,” Bobbie and Isabella get Steve to take a look at their accounting books. The speakeasy is running at a loss and they’ll do anything to make it work. But so will Steve. When he arrives at Bobbie and Isabella’s office, he declares that he’s found a solution that will solve their problems and cover the losses of the speakeasy for a year. Both women are happy until Steve proudly declares that the solution is to fire him.

Steve sharing his “solution” is a little worrisome because it could change the entire dynamic of Happy’s Place. Does this mean that Steve is going to work somewhere else? Or does he feel like he’s someone that can easily be replaced? Either way, there’s no way that Bobbie and Isabella are going to be ok with Steve sacrificing himself for the speakeasy. He’s family after all. And if the speakeasy has to go to keep Steve, family comes first.
