It’s almost time to say goodbye to Paris! After years of fashion and romance, Emily in Paris will end with Season 6. The final season is now in production, and according to star Lily Collins, the series is preparing to deliver “the final chapter in Emily’s adventure of a lifetime.” Keep reading to see the details!
Emily in Paris Season 6 Will Take Emily From Greece to Paris One Last Time
The announcement arrived with a BTS video celebrating the cast, the locations, and the moments that we love. Collins shared the news with us, teasing a season that promises to lean into everything we like about the show from the beginning. Need anything else? In season 6 we’ll travel to Greece, Monaco, and return to Paris to finish on a high note!
Series creator Darren Star reflected on the show’s run too. In his words, “making Emily in Paris with this extraordinary cast and crew has been the trip of a lifetime. As we embark on the final season, I am so grateful to Netflix, Paramount, and, most importantly, the fans who have taken this incredible journey with us,” he said. “We can’t wait to share this last chapter with you. Thank you for letting us be a part of your lives, inspiring your dreams of travel and your love of Paris. We will always have Emily in Paris!”
The farewell video also highlights many of the cast members like Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie, Ashley Park as Mindy, Lucas Bravo as Gabriel, Lucien Laviscount as Alfie, Samuel Arnold as Julien, Bruno Gouery as Luc, and William Abadie as Antoine Lambert. Collins closed the announcement by thanking fans, saying, “I can’t wait for all the magic ahead and to celebrate our final season with you in the most chic way yet! We’re so incredibly grateful.”
Season 5 left several relationships hanging in the balance. Emily’s time in Rome introduced her to Marcello, who change the direction of her life. But Emily realized that Paris still felt like home.
Furthermore, while Gabriele stepped aside so that Emily could be happy with Marcello and ended up in Greece, when he learned that she was back in Paris, he invited her to visit him…so all is not lost for them. Also, Mindy got engaged to Nicola, but her feelings for Alfie are still very much alive, so it doesn’t look like things are going to be easy between the three of them.
For now, Netflix is keeping Emily in Paris Season 6 plot details under wraps, but one thing is certain: Emily Cooper’s final chapter is going out in style.
