Alice Oseman is back for one final adventure for Nick and Charlie in Heartstopper Forever. For three seasons we’ve followed the love story of Charlie and Nick. And while many of us wished for a Season 4, that wasn’t in the cards for the show. Instead we’re getting a feature length film to wrap up their story as they prepare for university.
The official trailer for Heartstopper Forever makes it very clear that the reality of a long-distance relationship between Nick and Charlie is weighing heavy on them. Nick in particular is struggling on how to navigate life without Charlie being there day to day. And it’s an honest reflection of the power of first love but also how unpredictable life can be when you take big steps like going to university.
As for the rest of the group, they’re also dealing with their own ups and downs. And while it’s not totally clear where Tao and Elle stand, it’s great to see them back. Same thing with Tara and Darcy as a couple but also Isaac and Tori in general. Basically, Heartstopper Forever is going to be the kind of send off that will definitely have us crying!
