The Calm app is like that friend you don’t want to admit you’re actually very close to, but that sometimes saves your day. But hey, in 2026, we should all be shedding societal expectations telling us that things like the Calm app aren’t good!
But let me backtrack, just in case you don’t actually know what it is. The Calm app is, well, an app (though it’s available on desktop too!) that helps users with meditation, relaxation, and sleep. It does so through guided sessions, soothing nature sounds, breathing exercises, and “Sleep Stories,” which are usually narrated by celebrities.
And with House of the Dragon having returned for Season 3, the app has given fans of the show a little treat or two. Or even three?
First, there’s Harry Collett, who played Jacaerys Velaryon, helping you with some sleep meditation.
And Steve Toussaint, who plays Corlys Velaryon, helping you meditate. I could fall asleep to his voice too, not gonna lie here.
And then there’s just a thirty-minute soundscape of King’s Landing, if that helps you relax. We admit we played it in the background, and it’s kinda soothing, what can we say?
