I’ve been a loyal T-Mobile customer for 15 years, but for the first time in my life, I am considering a switch to Verizon. Why? Well, Verizon just did one of the most epic phone ads that I’ve ever seen.
Look, this writer is just like you – obsessed with the cast of Off Campus. Love the show, love the actors, don’t care about their personal lives (that’s their business), and am apparently obsessed with Stephen Kalyn in Verizon’s latest ad.
Finally, a brand learned to capitalize on fandom and do it in the right way.
The actor is the face for Verizon’s new campaign for its Simplicity plan, and boy, is this ad so simple, but also so effective. Simple is truly sexy AF.
“It’s you. It’s only you. You’re the one,” we hear Kalyn say in the ad. You know we’re all melting over this ad. He continues, “There’s no confusion. I’m done with the noise, done with the games.”
White tank top and leather pants? Lord, they are doing the lords work for all of us. Fans were stopped dead in their tracks,
“Thank you for your service …. Literally” one fan wrote.
“That’s definitely a way to advertise 😅” one person commented.
But his fiance, Victoria Lovatsis, spoke the words that we were all thinking by commenting: “God I love phones.”
