Anne Hathaway is really busy these days. She’s currently pregnant with baby #3, promoting The Odyssey, and it feels like answering questiions about The Princess Diaries 3 is a full time job. However, we’re excited about her answering questions about The Princess Diaries 3.
“I’m busy making baby number three, and that has sort of taken the place of knowing when exactly I can make Princess Diaries 3,” Hathaway said recently on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy.
But the actress also recently gave more insight, “I can say I think we had a story breakthrough. I think we are moving in the right direction. The script that we were working on — we kind of had to start over with this new direction, which is not the update I think anybody wants, but we all feel really good that this is gonna be the one.”
A breakthrough? We’ll take it.
Adele Lim was attached to direct the third installment. Producers on the film included Debra Martin Chase, Naia Cucukov and Melissa Stack.
We’d love to know more about The Princess Diaries 3, but we know it will be awhile. Anne Hathaway is busy and we totally understand that. The third installment will come when it comes.
