In this episode, which is the series premiere, we need to get our black suits ready, because following the death of Bill’s father, a DEA agent also turns up dead—forcing Bill, Colin, Nikki, and the rest of the team to spring into action and figure out what’s going on. However, things aren’t the way they used to be.
Colin has to grapple with the fallout from the betrayal by Toni, the woman he loved. It has made him wary and, in a way, colder—or at least less emotionally attached to the cases. He feels like he can’t trust anyone. Though perhaps there is one exception: Bill.
As for Bill, he chose to walk away from his dream job to keep solving cases alongside Colin; while he doesn’t regret the decision, he still has to adjust to his new reality. Not to mention that, following the discovery of a mole in the office, things are bound to change around there.
And to top it all off, FBI Agent Scola—an old friend of Bill’s—is stepping in to assist the team with the case. So yes, this hour is packed with new developments to explore. And we can’t wait!

Synopsis
Here is the synopsis for Season 2 Episode 1 ‘The Deep’:
When a known cartel fixer arrives in N.Y.C., the team tracks him down and discovers the body of a DEA agent. After it becomes clear the case is not what it seems, the team must work quickly to prevent additional murders. Meanwhile, Bill makes a shocking discovery when he returns to work after the death of his father and the team enlists the help of FBI Special Agent Stuart Scola (John Boyd).
