Saddle up, Marvel fans because San Diego Comic-Con is gearing up to be an epic one.
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 is officially coming to Comic-Con!
Director James Gunn posted a video on Guardians’ final day of filming, where he made the announcement:
“We, Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, are coming to San Diego Comic-Con this year. We’re going to be there. I’m going to be there. Chris Pratt is going to be there. A bunch of the gang is going to be there. And we’re going to show you guys something, uh, something pretty cool.”
Chris Pratt, who was also in the video, added: “ See you at Comic-Con!”
It sounds like we’ll be getting the first glimpse at footage from the highly-anticipated sequel come July in what’s guaranteed to be one hell of a Hall H panel featuring Pratt, Gunn, and more cast.
Following concerns that Marvel would be skipping the annual pop culture convention, both Guardians and Doctor Strange directors confirmed Marvel’s return to Comic-Con.
San Diego Comic Con runs July 20-24.
