The doppelgänger fun continues on The Flash.
Arrow‘s Katie Cassidy will guest star on The Flash as the Earth-2 version of Laurel Lance, according to TVLine (via Arrow executive producer Marc Guggenheim).
In this alternate universe, Laurel will embrace the persona of Black Siren, who in DC Comics was the mother of Dinah Laurel Lance and a member of the Justice Society.
Cassidy will appear in The Flash’s penultimate episode of season 2, which airs May 17.
We can’t help but wonder if Cassidy’s character on The Flash will follow the leads of a couple of Flash characters whose dopplegangers proved to be evil versions of themselves. Because how cool would that be?!
Cassidy will also lend her voice to animated series Vixen‘s second season. In Vixen’s live-action debut we got a tease that the two heroines were friends so perhaps we’ll see how that came to be.
