One of the most eagerly anticipated shows of 2017 is Netflix’s The Defenders. The Defenders team up Luke Cage, Daredevil, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist. We have gotten pictures and a quick teaser earlier this year but now finally a full-length trailer dropped today!!
There is so much to take away from this trailer! Firstly, Elektra is back?!!? How?? Also we get to see what looks to be the first meetings of not only Jessica Jones and Matt Murdock (And yes I am shipping them) but also Iron Fist and Luke Cage’s as well.
Also once again Marvel goes to the old chestnut of “Hallway Fight Scene” but this time with all 4 of our heroes involved.
Also included in the trailer are fan-favorites Misty Knight, Stick and Claire Temple, as they once again find themselves a part of the world of these Heroes. Also heavily in the trailer was the villain “Alexandra,” played by Sigourney Weaver as she lays some heavy threats on The Defenders.
So can the devil of Hell’s Kitchen, the smart ass detective, the righteous ex-con and the kid with the glowing fist get their shit together in time to once again save the day? We’ll find out August 18 on Netflix when The Defenders premieres!
