Netflix Announces Release Date for ‘To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before’

I love Jenny Han. If there was one writer I had to say affected my road in life, I would say without a doubt, it would be her. The Summer I Turned Pretty series ignited my love for reading.

I’ve been anxiously awaiting for any of her books to be turned into film. Everything she writes is special, heartwarming, and touches your soul. I will stop fangirling now and talk about how excited I am that the adaptation of her book, To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before, has a release date.

It was previously announced that Netflix picked up the distribution to the movie. If you aren’t familiar with the book, it follows Lara Jean, who has a little problem. She had written letters to her crushes in order to get over them (which hey, i’ve done, so not hating). The problem? One day the letters are mailed out and she’s going to have to face them all. One issue? One is her sisters boyfriend. And in order to make that less awkward, she makes an awkward arrangement with one of the other letter recipients, Peter.

Ya Lara Jeans life is all sorts of cray.

To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before will drop on Netflix Friday, August 17, 2018. Han announced the premiere on her twitter.

Can not wait for this film! Are you excited?
