I think it’s an understatement to say that we are living in weird times but that shouldn’t be an excuse for us to feel down. That’s why I’ve gathered 5 movies to get you in a better mood!

1. The Little Prince (2015)

This movie brings back memories of our own childhood with a timeless story that revolves around a timeless book, The little Prince.
2. Billy Elliot (2000)
The life of 11-year-old Billy Elliot, a coal miner’s son in Northern England, is forever changed one day when he stumbles upon a ballet class during his weekly boxing lesson. Before long, he finds himself in dance, demonstrating the kind of raw talent seldom seen by the class’ exacting instructor, Mrs. Wilkinson.

4. The 40 year Old Virgin (2005)

5. My Neighbor Totoro (1988)
My neighbor Totoro is all you could ask for in these times. This anime film is calming, enjoyable, and heartwarming. The film will leave you feeling like you just received a hug from the cuddly giant Totoro.
This acclaimed animated tale by director Hayao Miyazaki follows schoolgirl Satsuke and her younger sister, Mei, as they settle into an old country house with their father and wait for their mother to recover from an illness in an area hospital.
As the sisters explore their new home, they encounter and befriend playful spirits in their house and the nearby forest, most notably the massive cuddly creature known as Totoro.
