I’m not going to lie, I was wishin’ and a hopin’ this weeks episode of Katy Keene would be another entertaining one. Sadly, that just wasn’t the case. I was super bored through the whole episode. I’ll try to keep you engaged with my review, at least more than the episode. Let’s start.
Katy and Guy
Wishin’ and a Hopin’ marked Katy Keene’s first day working as Guy’s apprentice. We saw a whole new side to him. That he can be a bit of a jerk. Although, if we listen to Pepper it’s all because of his control issues, so we will see.
I think it was also a combination of him trying to keep Katy at a distance because he is starting to have feelings for her. That just might be my hopes though, because Katy and Guy are my current ship of the show. Although, next week’s promo did give us a tease of a possible kiss. So I’ll keep my hopes alive for now.
JOSIE AND ALEX
So Josie is back to square one trying to break into the industry with the new Pussycats. Alex is supposedly along for the ride. I don’t think either is going to last long. Josie is going to be wishin’ n’ hopin’ that everything works out, and Alex is not going to get out of his dad’s clutches that easily. I’m very skeptical.
Also, their section of the episode was shot super confusing and weird. I know that Josie was filming a documentary, but the way they portrayed it was horrible. They could have done a better job and shown where it was obvious she was filming vs. just the actual episode. I was confused for a solid ten minutes at least.
PEPPER AND HANNAH
We got a bombshell dropped on us today! Pepper is actually married to a woman named Taylor, who now goes by Hannah. I can honestly say I was not suspecting this to happen.
Good job Katy Keene writers room. I’m curious to see where their social media feud will end up.
JORGE AND BERNARDO
Jorge, don’t you know you shouldn’t be around your ex. They are your ex for a reason. I’m sorry, but nothing good is going to come of this threesome, or introducing your ex to Bernardo. As we saw in the last couple of minutes of the episode, Jorge might have done fucked up. The last thing he wants is to loose Bernardo. And to his ex, no less.
