The Boys are coming back, and no, they’re not any less violent in season 2. The show – whose Season 3 renewal was announced at this year’s Comic Con @ Home – is upping the ante from season 1.
In case you’re not familiar with the show and looking to get familiar real fast, because like us, you’re starved for new entertainment, the show follows a team of vigilantes who do the “necessary” job of taking self-serving superheroes down a peg – or two.

The Boys returns on Sept. 4 with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly new episodes every Friday.
