Demi Lovato is making a return to television and we’re excited for it.
The superstar will be the lead in the upcoming NBC comedy series Hungry. While the series has only a pilot commitment, if the network doesn’t pick it up, they will pay a penalty.
The show is about, ” a group of friends who belong to a food issues group and help each other as they look for love, success and that one thing in the refrigerator that will make it all better.”
Demi will also serve as an executive producer on the project.
Also producing are Suzanne Martin, Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills and Scooter Braun, James Shin and Scott Manson. That’s a roster of some pretty big Hollywood heavyweights.
