No matter how you feel about football, the Super Bowl, or the teams playing, most people can agree that the commercials have become one of the best parts of the sporting event. Marvel Studios has used that to their advantage in the past. This year’s game was no different. The studio premiered a brand new The Falcon and the Winter Soldier trailer with a 30-second teaser during the game. The full trailer dropped simultaneously online.
The Falcon and the Winter Soldier is only a little over a month away now. This trailer and the new poster are perfect ways to get us excited in the lead up to the series. It doesn’t hurt to have Migos’ song “Is You Ready” setting the tone in the background. It’s all so good!
This is the first official trailer we have for the series. The one we got during Disney’s Investor Day 2020 is labeled a “first look.” It’s definitely a glimpse into the world we’ll get to experience alongside Bucky and Sam come March 2021. This trailer helps fill in some of the gaps left by that earlier footage.

Streaming exclusively on Disney+.
This trailer puts both Bucky and Sam’s abilities and their dwindling patience on full display in the 2-minute trailer. We cannot get enough of it! This is the buddy team-up we have been clamoring for since the duo started butting heads back on Captain America: The Winter Solider. It looks like the heroes get themselves stuck in something that resembles couple’s therapy on the show.
The best parts of this trailer are when Sebastian Stan and Anthony Mackie work off of each other to create those hilarious yet sincere moments we’ve missed since we last saw them during Avengers: Endgame. Marvel Studios knows that this show is going to work because of Stan and Mackie’s longstanding friendship and undeniable chemistry, and this trailer prioritizes that.
The footage doesn’t give us a lot of Wyatt Russell’s John Walker besides the footage we’ve seen in the past. He is featured in the center of the star on the poster, though. Marvel Studios is keeping a lot about this character under wraps, which is a good sign something big is coming. This trailer does give us another look at Baron Zemo’s return. He is still out to end superheroes, and it appears that the Falcon and the Winter Soldier are on his list. Most importantly, SHARON CARTER IS BACK. It’s been a long time coming, but it looks like Marvel Studios is finally ready to let her shine.
