Selena Gomez is everywhere and I have to admit that I love that. I love her acting, her music and her business sense. She’s just fantastic.
Selena had recently mentioned that the thought of retiring from music had entered her mind. In an interview with Vogue, the 28 year old superstar had admitted that she had thought of retiring from music.
“It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously. I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, ‘What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?’ ‘Lose You to Love Me’ I felt was the best song I’ve ever released, and for some people, it still wasn’t enough,” she explained to the magazine.
Lose You to Love Me, was definitely amazing and didn’t get as much credit as it deserved. But we don’t necessarily think that you’ll ever be able to please everyone and to be honest, who wants to put that kind of pressure on themselves? Not me.
“I think there are a lot of people who enjoy my music, and for that I’m so thankful, for that I keep going, but I think the next time I do an album it’ll be different. I want to give it one last try before I maybe retire music.” she continued in the interview.
When the Vogue interview was released Cardi B took to social media to tell everyone that she doesn’t think that Selena should give up on music just yet.
