Most people know Lili Reinhart from the immensely over-dramatic (to a ridiculous level) show called Riverdale. Seriously, not my cup of tea, but to each their own. My favorite role of hers had to be on Hustlers with Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu. Reinhart was very engaging, comedic at times and nailed her role to a t.
Now she is taking on a new role. Netflix announced that Lili Reinhart will be staring in their newest film Plus/Minus. She will also be taking on the role of Executive Producer for the second time.
On the eve of her college graduation, Natalie’s life diverges into two parallel realities: one in which she becomes pregnant and must navigate motherhood as a young adult in her Texas hometown, the other in which she moves to LA to pursue her career. In both journeys throughout her twenties, Natalie experiences life-changing love, devastating heartbreak and rediscovers herself.
Working on Plus/Minus is Director Wanuri Kahiu from Rafiki, Screenwriter April Prosser and Executive Producer Alyssa Rodrigues for Screen Arcade. Also Producing is Screen Arcade’s Bryan Unkeless and Eric Newman; CatchLight Studios’ Jessica Malanaphy.
While I hope Plus/Minus is not over-dramatic like Riverdale., I will still probably give it a shot. What about you?
