The Wonder Years was one of the best television shows ever made. I know that everyone has different opinions on television shows, but for me – The Wonder Years was impactful, moving, and changed the way I love at television.
The Wonder Years reboot has cast its lead, Elisha “EJ” Williams, who currently voices the dog Bingo on Disney Junior’s animated Puppy Dog Pals. I admit, I have never seen it – but if you are like me and aren’t familiar with that show, he’s previously appeared in the Nickelodeon series Henry Danger and Danger Force.
Elisha had the news delivered to him by the original star of The Wonder Years, Fred Savage.
Savage will direct and exec-produce the pilot gave the exciting news to Elisha along with writer Saladin K. Patterson.
The reboot will take place in, “1968 Montgomery, Alabama, as the middle-class Williams family tries to make sure these are the Wonder Years for them, too. Dean, an inquisitive and hopeful 12-year-old, is trying to figure out his place within his Black family and the world at large, while coming of age in a turbulent time.”
Don’t know about you, but I am excited for the reboot of The Wonder Years. What do you think? Have you seen the original series?
