I know what you’re thinking when I say that name Archie. You’re thinking I am back on my Meghan Markle and Prince Harry bullshit, but I am not. I am sitting here watching Shadow & Bone screeners and trying to figure out what is happening.
I didn’t read the books. But that shit was on purpose, because we’re doing reviews from a book reader vs a non book reader. And well, I have to say mine have a lot of questions that I will probably get a lot of shit for.
But one of my biggest questions – who the hell is Archie Reanux and why wasn’t I on top of thirsting over this fine ass man? Part of me feels guilty for saying that and then the rest of me knows that we’re all thinking it, so….
But I have to maintain my focus because you know what – I love Ben Barnes and I totally may have decided to watch this series based off my thirst for him. But more than one hot man in a show is not a crime.
It’s a blessing.
And the Netflix Gods have blessed us, so I am doing my due diligence and figuring out everything I can about Archie (the actor, not the royal). I mean besides the obvious that he looks great without a shirt on and has such strong jaw porn that will make you weak.
HE’S NOT THAT ACTIVE ON SOCIAL MEDIA
I think that when it comes to life nowadays and young Hollywood, you would think that they would be everywhere on social media. But I guess the reality is that most people have realized the toxicity of social media. Archie, for example, deleted his Instagram. I mean personally, if I am deleting something it’s twitter. He doesn’t post often, but hey, that just makes you stalk his Twitter even more and wait for that post….
It makes it even more special to click that button to see what the post is. And pray that it is his abs. #JustSaying
HE’S A #GIRLDAD
One thing that I remember is that his girlfriend, Annie, welcomed a little girl in October. When his Instagram was active he did post a pic of a sonogram and had said that he would be joining the Dad club when Iris was born, so we’re assuming that’s her name. We’re thrilled for him and his family and wish them all the best.
HE’S ALSO A MODEL
I feel like everyone is multifaceted and that’s a good thing. I mean for me I am good at being snarky and sarcastic, but hey being an actor and a model is probably more lucrative. The man has modeled for Topman, Nasir Mazhar, Moss Bros, Gay Times Magazine, and Men’s Fashion Week and more. Modeling makes sense cause (1) he’s hot (2) he’s stylish, and (3) he’s definitely got a presence.
HE’S FROM ENGLAND
That’s it. That’s all you had to say and my ass was all over this. I don’t care what you say, an English accent is sexy as fuck. He was born in Kingston upon Thames in Greater London. Sounds like a cool place, IDK and I am probably wrong. But did I mention that he’s English and I will bow at the feet of a hot English man?
HE’S A CLASSICALLY TRAINED ACTOR
Look, I think that even if you are trained, you have to have some talent – to you know, be trainable. He attended Richard Challoner School before going on to train at the The Unseen Drama School, in London.
Look, there isn’t much about Archie online and that’s hot. Why? Because who doesn’t love a mystery. Also it means that he’s into acting for the love of acting.
And I’m completely behind that 100%. So Archie, I will just drool over all your roles and hey, can’t wait to see where you go from here!
