Big Sky returns on Tuesday and we are looking forward to it! Episode 1 X 09 ‘Let it Be Him,’ left us with a few crazy cliffhangers: Merilee killing Rick in the hospital with a hammer, oh and Ronald still on the loose. When the show returns, we are heading into some new territory with new characters for Cassie (Kylie Bunbury) and Jenny (Katheryn Winnick) to contend with.
According to Deadline, two more new cast members; Michelle Veintimilla (The Baker and the Beauty) and Sebastian Roche (The Man in the High Castle, General Hospital) have been added in recurring roles.

Veintimilla will play Rosie Amaya, the tough as nails daughter of Gil Amaya, the Kleinsasser family’s ranch manager. Rosie grew up close to Blake Kleinsasser, who taught her the ropes of cattle-ranching. Rosie will play a pivotal role in Dewell and Hoyt’s investigation into Lochsa county and unraveling its darkest secrets.

Roché will portray Sheriff Wagy, the polite and parochial Lochsa County Sheriff. A small-town cop whose sense of worth is dependent on the power wielded by the badge and gun. Despite Wagy’s apparent hospitality, Cassie and Jenny question his motives and efforts to obstruct their investigation at every turn.
Can’t wait to see these two and what kind of excitement they add to Big Sky. I will say this, I hope Sebastian’s role isn’t going to be too similar to John Carroll Lynch’s character the late Sheriff Legarski.
We also go the trailer for Big Sky and we have some thoughts
Ronald is gonna Ronald
First of all, what is that thing on Ronald’s head? that wig is a big no no and makes him look even creepier. Also, based on this clip, it is clear he still hasn’t learned anything from his past experiences with kidnapping people. You would think after everything, he would be laying low but, like we said, Ronald is gonna Ronald.
Cassie and Jenny are still badass
Cassie and Jenny are still badasses who are not afraid to go toe to toe with criminals. We love these two and can’t wait to see them working together again.
The new family is going to be full of drama

Big Sky has a lot of new cast members this time around and the Kleinsasser family; John Wayne (Kyle Schmid), Rand (Ryan Dorsey), and Cheyenne (Britt Robertson), look like they are going to bring all the drama. It will be interesting to see what kind of craziness they bring for Cassie and Jenny.
Is there love on the horizon for Jerrie?
Our girl Jerrie deserves the world and we hope she’s got a love coming. This clip makes us happy because she’s been through a lot. It’s time for her to feel loved.
Is this the Jenny show?

Okay, we get that this new Big Sky storyline is going to be centered on Jenny’s ex-boyfriend and his crazy family but, what about our girl Cassie? she literally had one line in the entire trailer and just looked like a background player in the Jenny show. We like it when both women have their fair share of screen time that includes talking too.
The U.S. Marshall is hot

The U.S. Marshall (Omar Metwally) is hot and it’s even hotter that he’s coming in to help bring Ronald in because he needs to be stopped. We’re looking forward to seeing how things play out between him and Cassie. Also, we just realized this is the actor who played Amun in Breaking Dawn Part 2.
Jerrie and Cassie are both being haunted by Ronald
It’s obvious that both Jerrie and Cassie still have some major PTSD to overcome when it comes to Ronald. Jerrie is still dealing with the trauma of all that she went through being kidnapped and Ronald can’t seem to stop harassing her. Cassie is feeling guilt over Ronald getting away. She feels bothered by not realizing she had him all along the moment she crossed paths with him in Merilee’s shop. It’s not her fault though, she didn’t know who he was and he’s pretty deceptive.
Big Sky airs Tuesdays on ABC and returns April 13th.
