Hotel Transylvania: Transformania, the fourth movie in the Hotel Transylvania franchise has a release date – well a new one. The movie has been moved up and will now premiere on July 23 instead of August 6th.
And the change makes sense.
On August 6th, the movie would have gone up against Suicide Squad, which I mean, I wouldn’t want to do. Even if most DC movies are bad. The new weekend also helps them avoid opening against Jungle Cruise, which is the following weekend. And if it was to open up a week earlier it would go up against Space Jam: A New Legacy. Not to mention Sony’s own Cinderella opens on July 16th.
Adam Sandler, Selena Gomez and Andy Samberg are all set to return with their vocal talents. Selena is also producing the movie.
