You know how sometimes you see a name and you’re like, okay, this is a definite try? That was us with Sophia Bush’s new movie, Hard Luck Love Song. Because if you say Sophia Bush, we’re in. Probably not in a movie theater, cause Delta variant and all. But definitely will be giving this one a try as soon as it’s available on digital somewhere.
If you’re as big a fan of Sophia as we are, it’s probably a must for you as well, so here’s the synopsis for the upcoming movie:
A modern day gritty love story inspired by acclaimed singer/songwriter Todd Snider’s seminal Americana hit, “Just Like Old Times.”, Hard Luck Love Song follows Jesse (Michael Dorman), a charismatic but down on his luck troubadour living out of cheap motels and making bad decisions. Jesse finds himself at an existential crossroads during a chance encounter with Carla (Sophia Bush), an old flame, as their complicated past and current troubles threaten to destroy their blissful reunion.
