Lucifer season 6 did a lot of things we loved, and that ending we’re still not sure we really like – whyy the pain whyyy – but above all it delivered some outstanding performances. Tom Ellis and Lauren German in the Deckerstar goodbye scene, however, might take the cake. It’s hard to look at this scene without weeping.
Everything they feel. Everything we feel. Everything they have ever felt. It’s all in their faces. And though we don’t like pain …this is the sweetest kind of pain, because it’s about love. The love they share. The love we’ve seen them exchange. The kind of love that never, ever ends.
So yeah, we’re emotional. The internet is emotional. And with good reason, really.
Someone give Lauren an award or fifty.
