As we grow older, we appreciate the chance to be home alone, unlike we ever did as kids. But if I am being honest, the joy of being home alone first became a thing to look forward to when I was a kid watching Home Alone.
No, I didn’t want anyone to rob my house, I just wanted to have an adventure.
Disney+ is rebooting the Home Alone franchise, with the their movie Home Sweet Home Alone. The new movie stars Ellie Kemper, Rob Delaney, Archie Yates, Aisling Bea, Kenan Thompson, Tim Simons, Pete Holmes, Devin Ratray, Ally Maki, and Chris Parnell.
And now Disney+ has released a trailer.
Max Mercer is a mischievous and resourceful young boy who has been left behind while his family is in Japan for the holidays. So when a married couple attempting to retrieve a priceless heirloom set their sights on the Mercer family’s home, it is up to Max to protect it from the trespassers…and he will do whatever it takes to keep them out. Hilarious hijinks of epic proportions ensue, but despite the absolute chaos, Max comes to realize that there really is no place like home sweet home.
Sounds so much fun! We’ll be watching it when it releases on November 12th!
