The answer is apparently …yes? And we’re not gonna lie, we’re excited about it.
Disney+ Day brought us a lot of information from a lot of properties, and one of the few Star Wars shows that got any real info was, you guessed it, the long awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi series. It wasn’t much, and it wasn’t anywhere close to a full trailer, but we did get some BTS information and Ewan McGregor talking about stepping back into the role.
We also got to hear a bit from Deborah Chow, who will be at the helm for all six episodes of the series. The show is set to pick up after the events of Revenge of the Sith, with Obi-Wan living in secret in Tatooine. “This is a quite a dark time we’re coming into with him, just being a Jedi; it’s not safe. There are Jedi hunters out there.”

The series is set to debut on Disney+ in 2022.
