Our love for Taylor Swift runs deep. Since the release of RED (Taylor’s Version), the album has been on repeat. Though we do admit that we take frequent breaks to watch All Too Well: The Short Film.
And as if that wasn’t enough, Taylor performed All Too Well live on Saturday Night Live this weekend and that also changed the game. We’re blessed to live in a time where Taylor Swift exists. Her lyrics, her genius, her heart all give us hope.
And we’re living for that. There isn’t a performance of Taylor’s that we wouldn’t want to be at, watch, and replay.
While we’re thinking that we were being fed a lot of content and music, we settled in for absorbing everything that she had already given us.
But this is Taylor Swift and she makes sure that we all know that she loves us. Taylor took to social media and announced a surprise.
“I finally got to work with the brilliant, brave, & wickedly funny @blakelively on her directorial debut,” she wrote. “Join us as we raise a toast, and a little hell.”
She also posted a link to where the video for I BET YOU THINK ABOUT ME would premiere.
The clip didn’t give away much, but at the end cuts to a black screen where it says “Written by Blake Lively & Taylor Swift” before flashing to “Directed by Blake Lively.”
We didn’t expect this, but we’re excited for it. The video for I BET YOU THINK ABOUT ME premiered today and we’re obsessed. Blake did an amazing job and we’re obsessed with how Taylor has upped the game. See the video below –
