So many of us look forward to The Met Gala each and every year. It’s like the Superbowl of fashion and it’s always a treat to look at the outfits that celebrities are wearing. Fashion after all, is art, and who doesn’t love art?
Every year the who’s who of the celebrity elite attend the gala. Hailey Bieber being one of those that regularly attends. She has attended the event the past six years.
While on The Ellen Degeneres Show the supermodel spoke about just why the event has been cursed for her.
“The first time I ever went to the Met, the morning after, I twisted my ankle and broke my foot. It was a whole thing,” Hailey said on the show. “I was 18, so this was a long time ago. But then the year after, 365 days to the day, because it was midnight of the Met Gala, I broke the same foot. But, the bone next to the one I broke the year before. So I had this whole thing in my head where I was like, the night of the Met Gala or the 24 hours within the Met Gala are cursed for me.”
“It happened the two times and it hasn’t happened since, knock on wood,” she added.
While on the show, Bieber was interviewed by guest host Yvonne Orji. One of the best things about Bieber is she is very open, funny, and charismatic.
