Sometimes meeting a celebrity isn’t everything that it is cracked up to be. Sometimes they are kind, sometimes they aren’t. But one meeting isn’t indicative of who they are all the time.
You may remember that there was a viral TikTok that said that Hailey Bieber wasn’t that nice. The TikTok came from @juliacarolann, and rated Hailey Bieber a “3.5 out of 10.″ It also said that she was “not nice” and it wasn’t one time, but a “handful of times.”Hailey spoke about the TikTok with psychiatrist, Dr. Jessica Clemons.

“There’s never an excuse for being rude. I felt bad that that was her experience with me,” Hailey said. “You never know what someone’s going through. I remember going through times in my life where I was so sad, and so heartbroken, that engaging with people felt hard for me.”
She went on to say she “thought about it and I regretted that. I wished that that wasn’t her experience with me. I wish I didn’t act that way towards her. I’m a human and I made a mistake and I acted a way that was out of character for me. I acted a way that I don’t want to be. I’m trying to do better every single day. I want to continue to grow as a person.”
Hailey’s conversation with Dr. Jessica Clemons was eye opening and made me think. I’ve judged many a celebrity off of my first meeting with them, without any second thought. I should be more open minded. We all should.
After all, we never know what anyone is going through.
