If there is anything we know, it’s that Netflix knows how to do a good rom-com. We still watch Holidate because it was good and we loved it.
Part of the reason that we loved it? Emma Roberts. The actress was great in the movie and even though this will be open to debate, she’s on par if not an even better actress than her aunt.
The actress knows her genre and has signed on for another rom-com. And the movie is with Holidate screenwriter Tiffany Paulsen and is entitled About Fate.
Oh fate, you tricky bitch you.
About Fate is a , “romantic comedy is a tale of two people who believe in love, but seem to never be able to find its true meaning. In a wild twist of events, fate puts each in the other’s path on a stormy New Year’s Eve and comedy and chaos ensue.”
The leading man for the movie has not been cast as of yet, but we do know that it is set to start filming in Boston in June.
Marius Weisberg will be directing the film. Vincent Newman, Marina Bespalov and Vladimir Koshelev will produce. We just want to know if Emma Roberts will be producing for her Belletrist Productions banner.
