Sometimes there are things in life that you go back to because they bring you comfort. They bring you joy. They put a smile on your face and it just sticks with you.
Personally, when I am down, I put on Tom Holland‘s Lip Sync Battle performance and I automatically smile. It just makes a day better.
Sometimes I think about what courage Tom Holland had to put on such an amazing performance. Like I don’t know many celebrities that would put on the latex and leather and dance in the rain.
“I just knew that at that point in my life, no one really knew who I was. And I was doing this show with Zendaya, who is obviously incredibly famous, and I was really nervous about being this random guy who everyone was like, Who is this person? Why are you on the stage? So I just thought to myself like, I’m going to have to just do something incredibly bold, and if they watch it and don’t know who I am, they’ll still be entertained by it. So naturally, I decided to dance in the rain in fishnet tights.” Tom had said earlier this year to Esquire in regards to his performance.
As the two were out on their press tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home and were asked by IMDB if they would ever do Lip Sync Battle again. And of course this question came from the fans, because we know how to ask the questions (fans that is).
Zendaya was a definite no, which had us laughing cause like girl, don’t blame you. Sounds like a lot of work and even though we would love to see you and Tom on it again, we also understand that the two of them are insanely busy.
“Absolutely not. It was so stressful and we did such a good job.” Tom replied to the question.
We’re okay with this. Why mess with perfection? What are your thoughts?
