The Time Traveler’s Wife is one of those stories that has stayed with us no matter what has happened. It’s a beautiful, powerful book, was a great movie, and we’re sure that it’s going to be a great show on HBO Max.
With the newest adaptation coming, the star of the movie adaptation Rachel McAdams was asked by Indiewire how she feels about the adaptation being brought to the streaming service small screen.
“Adapting a book is always hard, and that was one of my favorite books, and it was always so painful to have to let so many things go because you had to just cram it all into an hour and a half or whatever it was,” she said when talking about the film.
She continued by saying that she loves “that it’s being expanded. I think that the book lends itself well to that.”
We couldn’t agree more. It’s one of our favorite books, so we’re looking forward to seeing it being expanded into the series on the small screen.
The newest adaptation has a cast which includes Rose Leslie as Clare Abshire, Theo James as Henry DeTamble, Desmin Borges as Gomez, and Natasha Lopez as Charisse, is bringing to life Audrey Niffenegger‘s novel for a limited series on HBO/HBO Max.
The Time Traveler’s Wife premieres on HBO Max on May 15th. Will you be watching?
