We can respect that actors want to do a lot of different things. They don’t want to pigeonholed into one type of role.
But some actors choose a role and no matter what they do, they will always be that role. Joey King is one of those to us, she’s the YA/Rom-Com queen. She’s just always going to be the girl from The Kissing Booth.
And trust, we’re trying hard to think differently.
We’re just failing.
But, she’s trying to do more things and we can respect that. The still from Joey Kings latest movie, The Princess, has us going huh?
In the movie, “When a beautiful, strong-willed princess refuses to wed the cruel sociopath to whom she is betrothed, she is kidnapped and locked in a remote tower of her father’s castle. With her scorned, vindictive suitor intent on taking her father’s throne, the princess must protect her family and save the kingdom.”
Well, ok then. The Princess stars King, along with Veronica Ngo, Dominic Cooper and Olga Kurylenko.
The movie hits Hulu on July 1st.
