Paul Walker, Uma Thurman, and others are getting their very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2023.
Walker is best known for his time in the Fast & Furious movies. His star isn’t the only posthumous one to be given out. Juanita Moore, best known for her work in work in 1950’s movies like Imitation of Life and Ransom!, is also receiving a star. Other celebrities that are getting stars include Mindy Kaling, Vince Vaughn, and Bill Pullman. Musicians Lenny Kravitz, the Jonas Brothers, and Marc Anthony are being given stars as well.
The Hollywood Walk of Fame is a historic landmark that consists of brass stars embedded in the sidewalks. They run along 15 blocks of Hollywood Boulevard in Hollywood, California. But that’s not all. There are three blocks on Vine Street as well. They have become monuments for the achievements in the entertainment industry across actors, musical groups, fictional characters, and more.
It has become one of the most recognizable places in Hollywood with fans from all over the world coming to take pictures with the star of their choice. You have Michael Jackson, Frank Sinatra, Harrison Ford, and even the Munchkins bringing in fans. But that’s not the only thing that happens on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. There’s plenty of vandalism too, particularly that of Donald Trump’s star aka the former President.
