It’s been what seems like forever since we’ve seen Lindsay Lohan in something new. We do know that we’ve got a Christmas movie coming, but we’d been wondering what will be coming next since she has a two movie deal with the streamer.
And now that question has been answered.
The star has signed on to star in Irish Wish, as part of her two picture partnership with the streamer. She’ll be re-teaming with Janeen Damian, who she worked with on Falling For Christmas.
Side note, we can’t wait for Falling For Christmas.
But back to this. As the star of Irish Wish she’ll be playing Maddie. The love of Maddie’s life becomes engaged to her best friend, and whereas most of us would be like done with it all, Maddie is not that best friend. She puts her feelings aside (as all BFF’s should) and heads to the wedding in Ireland. While in Ireland, and really close to the wedding, Maddie makes a wish for true love, only to wake up as the bride-to-be, realizing that the love of her life, really isn’t her soulmate at all.
Personally, sounds like the romantic comedy of our dreams, but then again, we always love one that teaches us a lesson and reminds us that somethings just aren’t meant to be (even if we think they are).
We’re here for the return of Lindsay Lohan to as many movies as possible.
Count us in! Sounds perfect and we’ll definitely be waiting for more information on the movie. But for now, we’re just gonna focus on Falling for Christmas, which starts streaming on Netflix, November 10th.
