Showing the good moments and the bad moments in life is not easy. We only seem to want to share the good, because the bad is hard. So many view the bad as weakness, but in this person’s opinion showing people that they are not alone and inspiring them that they can make it through – that’s strength.
Personally, a person that has inspired me has been Selena Gomez. The superstar has shown me that living with bipolar disorder isn’t something to be ashamed of. It doesn’t define me. It’s just a part of me.
And that’s why I am really looking forward to seeing her documentary, My Mind & Me.
“My Mind & Me. We don’t get along sometimes and it gets hard to breathe… But I wouldn’t change my life,” Selena captioned the teaser trailer on Instagram.
The documentary is about, “After years in the limelight, Selena Gomez achieves unimaginable stardom. But just as she reaches a new peak, an unexpected turn pulls her into darkness. This uniquely raw and intimate documentary spans her six-year journey into a new light.”
The documentary feature will be released on November 4th on Apple TV+. We will definitely be watching.
