Fangirlish was lucky enough to be invited to interview onscreen and voice actress, Rylee Alazraqui! While Trek fans best know Rylee as Rok-Tahk on Star Trek: Prodigy, she’s already had quite a busy career at age eleven. She also stars in Summer Camp Island, Stillwater, and Doug Unplugs. You can also hear her voice on the podcast series, Bloodthirsty Hearts.
Rok-Tahk is my favorite character on Prodigy. I love her curiosity and how even though she’s big and strong, she’s actually very gentle. Rylee had a lot of say about playing Rok-Tahk. Take a look at our interview and learn more about Rylee Alazraqui and her role in Star Trek: Prodigy.
It was so fun to speak with Rylee. She’s very thoughtful when it comes to Rok-Tahk and her work on Prodigy. It encourages me to watch an actor so young take her work seriously and immerse herself fully in the work that she does.
Thanks very much to Rylee Alazraqui for her time and thoughtful responses. She’s a delight to interview. I hope we can compare notes again soon about Rok-Tahk and the next season of Prodigy. I also want to give many thanks to the good folks at Paramount for organizing this interview and inviting me to participate on behalf of Fangirlish.
What does the rest of season one of Star Trek: Prodigy have in store for Rok-Tahk and Rylee? I don’t know bout you, but I can’t wait to find out. What did you think of my interview with Rylee Alazraqui? Leave me a comment and let’s talk Trek.
Star Trek: Prodigy is streaming now on Paramount+.
