When it comes to Netflix, one of our favorite things to talk about is the show, Emily in Paris. After the cliffhanger of last season, with what will Emily choose, we’ve been in desperate need of answers. Where she would work, who she would be with, how would she handle the things that are changing around her?
Even Emily has realized that she’s always been practical, but making the decision to move to Paris has changed a lot of that practicality for her.
Choices aren’t an easy thing to make for anyone, but for Emily they seem a lot more complicated on all fronts. She doesn’t seem to be capable of making choices and by the time she makes them, things are too late for her. She’s definitely experienced this a lot of that since moving to Paris.
But more than being indecisive, a lot of Emily’s decisions have been affected by her want to please everyone and not realizing that you can’t do that. Someone will always be disappointed. She put her heart aside when it came to Gabriel in order to make things right with Cami, and that’s definitely going to be something that affects all of them for the foreseeable future.
The one person that Emily seems to never choose is herself.

But maybe that’s the biggest travesty. Emily has forgotten that she’s worthy of putting herself first. She put everything aside in order to be Cami’s friend, but Cami was never loyal to her. So one has to wonder why she did that. Maybe she’s just too young to understand that when you have a relationship like Cami and Gabriel have, it’s not going to last. It’s all built on lies and manipulation.
But in turn that’s hurting someone new. Alfie. Alfie, who just has fallen hard for Emily Cooper and doesn’t realize that he’s Emily’s second choice. Alfie realizes it, to a point, I think. I just feel like he like’s Emily so much that he’s willing to over look that.
But I will say this – I think that he’s even going to be over it at a point and lay down the law. But I do feel like it’s going to force Emily to let go of Gabriel. I think that her and Alfie are going to end up together. Now, I am saying that because I historically am always wrong and am team Emily and Gabriel.
At least I think I am.
Then again, I also am pissed at Gabriel for having Cami move in.
I guess we’ll see it all unfold together when season 3 of Emily in Paris premieres on December 21st.
