Chicago P.D. 10×12 “I Can Let You Go” sounds like an episode about how Hailey cannot actually do that. The journey the show has taken Hailey Upton this season has been anything but fulfilling and having Sean remain in her life in whatever capacity isn’t exactly what we want for Hailey, no matter how good Tracy Spiridakos is. No, we want her happy. We want her to get her husband back, smile again, and, you know …have healthy habits.
Like eating at regular hours, getting enough sleep, and confiding in someone that isn’t a criminal.
We don’t think we’re asking for too much here. There are other stories to tell with Hailey that don’t involve just beating down the character over and over, without any respite or any kind of lasting relief. She deserves better, and so do we.

Sean O’Neal surprises Det. Upton with a call from prison, revealing sensitive information. While Upton grapples with how to keep O’Neal at a distance, the team quickly mobilizes to stop a crime in progress before it’s too late.

I’m having a hard time with the premise of this episode from the promo. Sean says “people tell me things in here.” I know this is fiction and reality is sometimes stretched for a story, but this is completely unrealistic. Sean is a convicted sex trafficker who raped teenage girls, no one is going to tell him anything. He’s someone the other inmates would look to shank. The fact that his father was a police chief makes this even less likely.
