We continue in our Perfect Addiction era! It’s time to sit down with Matthew Noszka about Jax’s possible redemption and how the villain may end up becoming a hero in his own story. Ready?
Here we go!
Redemption is the Key
Matthew Noszka is well aware that his character is the villain of Perfect Addiction, but he’s also a fighter and if there’s one thing to admire about him, it’s that, as Matthew says.
However, Jax’s toxicity is something Perfect Addiction focuses on and Matthew Noszka shares with us how important this is for everyone to understand what Jax is doing wrong and how he hits rock bottom.
In addition to this, Matthew Noszka confesses that he believes that, despite everything bad Jax did, he can redeem himself. In Perfect Addiction, Jax is meant to be the villain, the toxic guy, so he’s not on the road to redemption but Matthew thinks it’s the beginning.
Matthew Noszka saw a redemption path open up for Jax at the end of Perfect Addiction, more specifically, the moment Jax sees Sienna in the hospital. Matthew shares that, from his point of view, that’s the turning point of his character, the point where he puts into perspective all the bad things he’s done and the consequences of it. And that is the first step on the road to his redemption.
And we couldn’t agree more. Matthew Noszka explained it perfectly, but to find out exactly what he said, you’ll have to watch the video!
Delving a little deeper into the subject of Jax’s redemption, Perfect Ruin shows us another side of his story and Matthew Noszka was very interested in re-exploring Jax until he ends up being the hero of the story. And frankly, fingers crossed!
