We know spring is several months away, but we already have something to look forward to. The official teaser trailer for Perfect Addiction has dropped, and it has us ready to step into the ring. Well, we are figuratively speaking, at least.
The film based on the popular book by Wattpad author Claudia Tan sounds like our kind of story. In the movie “A Successful boxing trainer discovers that her boyfriend, a reigning champion, has been cheating on her with her own sister. She sets out to get revenge by training the one man capable of dethroning him: his arch-nemesis Kayden.” Come on, can you think of a better way to get revenge on your MMA fighter boyfriend than training his opponent to kick his ass for you? It doesn’t hurt that said guy is also hot.
We realize the official teaser trailer for Perfect Addiction is less than a minute, but it did the trick and had me wanting to grab a copy of Tan’s book, so I can read it before the film comes out. One thing is for sure; the cast will be amazing and diverse. The movie stars our favorite, Kiana Madeira (Fear Street), as the lead, Sienna. Matthew Noskza (Zaya) stars as Sienna’s ex-boyfriend Jax and Ross Butler (Riverdale) stars as her new love interest Kayden.
We don’t know about you all, but Perfect Addiction looks like it will be sexy and angsty. It gives Never Back Down movie vibes with an angsty love triangle twist, and we are here for it. We love that the female character is also a badass who can hold her own. And the love triangle thing too because it’s hot. #ISaidWhatISaid.
Perfect Addiction was directed by Castille Landon and is produced by Constantin Film and Wattpad. The release date is set for Spring 2023 and will be available in select theaters and on Amazon Prime Video.
