Chicago P.D. 10×22 “A Better Place” looks ready to break our hearts and leave us hanging — with the added insult to injury that due to the WGA strike, this cliffhanger is likely to last much longer than cliffhangers normally last. The new season probably won’t start back in September. We won’t get a resolution as quickly as we want to. And as much as we want that resolution — as much as the characters deserve it, the writers deserve a fair deal even more.
But boy, it hurts to even imagine how this is going to end. This season of Chicago P.D. has already brought pain after pain after pain. We’re fragile. We really cannot take much more. Give us some hope, please. A little bit of it. Just something to hang onto during the long hiatus. That’s all we’re asking for.
