While we want to love the return of Zoey 101 in any way, shape or form, we have to admit that we’re on the fence. Many would think that has to do with Jamie Lynn Spears and the way we’re still side eying her over everything that happened with her sister, but it’s not it.
There are many reasons that we are on the fence. It’s because of the things that happened behind the scenes on the original show and hey, we’re definitely not condoning that.
Zoey 101 was such an important time in our lives, so revisiting it feels weird. But hey, every is doing remakes or sequels these days.
In the movie, “Over a decade after the iconic series ended, Zoey Brooks is still trying to figure out life and love, this time in her 20s. The Pacific Coast Academy gang returns to Malibu for an over-the-top wedding turned high school reunion for the books.”
The movie also released its first look of Jamie Lynn Spears returning at Zoey Brooks.

Among those returning, Paramount+ announced, are Jamie Lynn Spears as Zoey Brooks, Erin Sanders as Quinn Pensky, Sean Flynn as Chase Matthews, Matthew Underwood as Logan Reese, Christopher Massey as Michael Barret, Abby Wilde as Stacey Dillsen and Jack Salvatore as Mark Del Figgalo. But, it should be said that Paul Butcher, who played Dustin Brooks; Victoria Justice, who played Lola; and Austin Butler, who played James, are not set to return for the movie, which “follows Pacific Coast Academy alumni as they reunite for a wedding in the present day.”

Are you excite for Zoey 102? What do you think of the reboot?
