Happiness sometimes seems like a fleeting concept. It’s one that we all seem to want to grab a hold of, but one that we seem to hold back from ourselves on the off chance that we actually get it.
Why? Well, because we are afraid of it. Some would say that we’re afraid of happiness because if we allow ourselves to be happy, we’re having to let go of the anger, but also see that we let go of ourselves in the anger also. Sometimes we forget who we were and accept that who we have become is we were meant to be.
But in that we are essentially settling.
In Happiness is For Beginners, “Helen has always lived her life as far from the edge as possible. Newly divorced, she joins a quirky group of strangers on a survival course for the “Adventure of a Lifetime” with the hope of learning how to live – and love – again.”
Love is one of the things in this life that changes us the most. It can transform us into better people, but can also make us lose ourselves.
So while we normally have multiple life lessons for any trailer, for this one – we have one. One that we all should remember.
Someone will always see the things in you that you don’t see. Allow them to.
