The Fall season is always a good time for a comfort movie. And Josephine Langford’s upcoming film, The Other Zoey, will be that film for us. What makes it even better is the fact that it’s a Rom-Com. And who doesn’t love a good Rom-Com?
“Zoey Miller (Langford), a super smart computer nerd uninterested in romantic love, has her life turned upside down when Zack (Drew Starkey), the school’s soccer star, gets amnesia and mistakes Zoey for his girlfriend.” That’s not all there is to this film though. Rather than tell the truth, she follows the Doctor’s advice. She continues being “the other Zoey.”
This causes a problem for her because she becomes attracted to Zack’s cousin Miles (Archie Renaux), with whom she has much more in common.
We’ve seen the trailer for The Other Zoey, which reminds us a bit of While You Were Sleeping. The film looks adorable; you already know how much we love Josephine. We’re looking forward to seeing her in something more light-hearted after playing Tessa Young in the After series.
If you’re a fan of those films, you know how much angst there was. The cast for The Other Zoey is everything, and we can’t wait to watch this love triangle play out for Langford, Starkey, and Renaux’s characters onscreen. We were already smiling watching the trailer because we could all use a feel-good movie.
