We may not review Wolf Like Me, but that doesn’t mean that we don’t watch it. We appreciate a romantic dramedy and we also appreciate a show that it’s what we thought it would be.
Wolf Like Me is that show. That’s not to mention the fact that it stars two of the greats, Isla Fisher and Josh Gad. The two can make anything funny. Toss in the whole werewolf angle and the whole pregnancy thing and here, we’ve got a show that we can’t wait to see what happens next.
The shows second season debuts on October 19th. Will you be watching?
WHAT’S THE SHOW’S PREMISE?
Widower Gary lives in suburban South Australia with his 11-year-old daughter, Emma, both struggling to connect. One day, Gary and Emma’s car is hit by Mary, a stranger who helps Emma after she suffers a panic attack. Surprised, Gary and Mary go on a date that ends with Mary racing out the door. After Gary discovers Mary’s secret, their connection deepens with some uncertainty, but maybe they’ll find everything they’ve been searching for.
WHAT’S THE SECOND SEASON ABOUT?
In the second season of Wolf Like Me, Mary (Isla Fisher) and Gary (Josh Gad) leap into the next phase of their relationship, facing their biggest challenge yet: pregnancy. As much as the two try to have a “normal” pregnancy, it seems impossible with so many questions looming over them. Will their child be a human or a wolf? Just how long can they keep things secret from the rest of their family? Will what happened in the outback come back to haunt them? And with Mary’s former professor, Anton (Edgar Ramirez), suddenly in the picture, can their relationship withstand newly unearthed secrets from Mary’s past?
